Paperboard Material Quality

Material quality check involves in visual inspection, B/S tester and ECT testers etc. Paperboard used for gift boxes should meet the following requirements:
1. Paper and/or paperboard material used(type/grammage) conforms to order requirement or proof sample.
2. Paper or paperboard flexing properties: Bend along the crease line at a 180 degree from both ways, there’s no break to the board.
3. The fluting patterns of corrugated boards comply with the artwork or proof sample.
4. Paperboard’s bursting strength(B/S) should be no less than 13kgf/cm, generally.
5. Edge Crust Testing(ECT) should be over 32KG.
